On Wednesday, Homer Simpson was the focal point of the New York Times crossword puzzle. I'm still not sure if this reflects poorly on the Times, their crossword, or Homer himself (although I am inclined to think the latter) but it is interesting. Twenty years ago I struggled with puzzles devoted to obscure operas; now it is obscure quotes from a character on The Simpsons. I give credit to George W. Bush. You were right, sir, it is a kinder, gentler nation indeed. And the sense of humor hasn't hurt much either...(can i get an amen from the bobbleheads?!?!?)
ah boy...before i get the dander up of various, sordid visitors to this site, let me explain...i meant George H.W. Bush. No one can pin this one on you, Dub...
